my wife has talked me into buying her a new fridge I sujested she had a fridge freezer she agreed I now have a freezer at my disposal to keep my hops in also I have her old cool larder which when modified will take 2 king keg pressure barrels the plan is to put the beer into the pressure barrel pressurize it leave it at room temperature for 2 weeks then into the cool larder can anybody see any thing wrong with this idea

last week i put a 5 gallon barrel of beer in my new cool box when i put it in it was clear last night i tried it and it has gone cloudy is there a reason for this

Pour a glass and leave to come to room temperature if it becomes clear again- yes its chill haze which is caused by proteins in the beer becoming insoluble at lower temperatures and creating haze. When it warms up they go back into solution and the beer clears

Fine with polyclaar to prevent this. I only bother with pale beers.
